Blue Garden

After quite some time in the studio, I am happy to announce another finished work.
Blue Garden, a scenic lunar landscape portraying a settling night over an imaginary valley came about through a request from a client.

The request started from a vague concept of tones, and grew over time as we dug deeper into what it was that existed between our minds.

I am very proud of this work. Although there is no official place like it, and it is drawn from my imagination, it is inspired by a place I hold dear. The Sea to Sky highway connects Vancouver to Whistler. It is both a place of tranquility and a place of reckless abandon.

Although I have lost count of how many there are, I have had a part in painting almost every tree in this painting individually. When I have a more thorough update I will provide close ups!
